Job Summary / Purpose:
Responsible for delivering professional cleaning and housekeeping services at assigned client premises in accordance with contractual requirements and Company standards. Ensures that facilities are consistently maintained in a clean, safe, hygienic, and presentable condition, while supporting the overall operational image of the Company. Also responsible for promptly identifying and reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, and repair requirements to the immediate supervisor.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas in accordance with Company standards.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
- Clean walls, ceilings, windows, doors, restrooms, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty waste receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with Company procedures.
- Replenish cleaning materials and hygiene consumables in assigned areas.
- Respond promptly to routine and emergency cleaning requests.
- Support the setup and dismantling of furniture and equipment for operational activities and events.
- Operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
- Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance defects, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in a clean and serviceable condition.
Qualifications:
- 10th grade level.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Must have knowledge in cleaning items, chemicals, and machineries.
Knowledge , Skill & Ability:
- Ability to work in an environment with conditions which may include fumes, odour, gases, chemical and dust.
- Ability to move and lift items of moderate weight.
- Ability to stand for extended time periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop and crawl and ability to descend and ascend ladders, stairs and scaffolding.
- Ability to work more than duty hours and able to work on weekends, holidays and emergency condition if assigned.
- Ability to operate equipment and tools related to cleaning.
- Ability to work effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions.
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years’ cleaning experience locally or in the UAE.
