JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

 

The incumbent ensures customer service operations are functioning in line with the client contractual agreements and include working with the management staff to ensure prompt responses to visitor and residents’ inquiries and to notify the appropriate party immediately of supply issues and other concerns. Assist with the creation of building policies by working with several groups in systems and various departments within the company.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Maintain and develop an asset and equipment register. Provide safe and indexed storage of site drawings, O & M Manuals and equipment Access Control.
  • Maintain and record visitor’s logbook.
  • Enforcement of procedures related to visitors.
  • Make appropriate and detailed log entries regarding any incidents encountered during the tour of duty, at the end of the shift.
  • Arrange taxi / transport for the residents on request.
  • Coordinate and assist in unit maintenance requests and related payments.
  • Be alert for any fire hazards and other defects that need immediate attention.
  • Understanding of operating of security, fire life safety equipment including:
    • Fire alarm panel and firefighting equipment’s
    • Access control system, including activating and deactivating of access cards and gate barrier controllers
    • CCTV system monitoring
    • Voice evacuation system
    • Operating Elevators in manual mode

 

  • Accept responsibility for the safeguarding of the premises.
  • Always be alert for any unusual occurrences and take appropriate action.
  • Make appropriate decisions, the basic aim being to diffuse a situation as quickly as possible.
  • Be fair and impartial in all situations and to avoid bias at all costs.
  • Be polite, diplomatic, and professional in handling situations, yet firm in upholding DuServe FM policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of good public relations.

 

QUALIFICIATON

 

  • Diploma in any related field.
  • Good command of the English language both verbal and written. Knowledge of Arabic and other language desirable.

 

CERTIFICATON

 

  • Customer service desirable

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

 

  • Ability to provide Good Customer Service.
  • Able to communicate in English both verbal and written.
  • Spoken Arabic an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Well-groomed and presentable.
  • Excellent administrative skills and customer service skills

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum three (3) years extensive experience in a customer service industry preferably in a multi-cultural environment.
