Executive - Procurement & Contracts

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

We are currently seeking an Executive - Procurement & Contracts - to join our team, with a focus on managing and optimizing the procurement processes for our organization. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers and develop a reliable network of contacts.
Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate terms, and establish strong supplier relationships.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.

Procurement Process Oversight: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance.
Review purchase requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Cost Optimization: Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining product quality and availability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
Prepare and present regular procurement reports and analysis to management.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to the development of efficient procurement procedures.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

               

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

 

             

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within facilities management industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong on negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex procurement situations and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as public procurement laws or industry-specific standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Holder of valid UAE driver’s license
