JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
Landscape Supervisor should have knowledge of plants (Shrubs, Ground Cover, Trees, Seasonal Flowers, and Desert Plants) and irrigation system repair & maintenance.
Landscape Supervisor should have experience in the installation of plants and irrigation systems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the day-to-day landscape operations on assigned sites.
- Responsible for establishing daily goals and target deadlines for the team.
- Responsible for implementing landscape PPM in the field, checking for and ensuring safe working conditions.
- Responsible for identifying enhancement opportunities and preparing enhancement proposals for individual and corporate clients.
- Responsible for preparing monthly operational reports, PPM checklists, and other documents as needed or directed.
- Responsible for preparing snag reports and WCR for all projects.
- Prepare and maintain training records.
- Responsible for maintaining the plants and irrigation system at superior levels.
- Responsible for providing technical training to the team & team leaders.
- Provide equipment training to the relevant field staff.
- Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction on sites under the guidance of the Landscape Manager, while always striving for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for ensuring proper use, storage, and conservation of equipment & consumables.
- Responsible for providing a quick response onsite, in case of an emergency.
- Responsible for preparing time sheets and keeping daily attendance records for all technical staff.
QUALIFICIATON
- 10th grade level.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Must have knowledge in cleaning items, chemicals, and machineries.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Ability to work in an environment with conditions which may include fumes, odour, gases, chemical and dust.
- Ability to move and lift items of moderate weight.
- Ability to stand for extended time periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop and crawl and ability to descend and ascend ladders, stairs and scaffolding.
- Ability to work more than duty hours and able to work on weekends, holidays and emergency condition if assigned.
- Ability to operate equipment and tools related to cleaning.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum (4) years’ Landscape experience locally in the UAE.
