JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
The incumbent will ensure and to coordinate the delivery of high-quality fault fixing and maintenance service across multiple sites to meet the service specifications and customer expectations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HVAC / AC SYSTEMS
- Perform periodic preventive maintenance schedule of HVAC / AC units.
- Routine inspection and repair of HVAC / AC system
- Ensure that all operation and maintenance activities are properly recorded and documented.
- Response to emergency and breakdowns.
- Conduct trouble shoot/diagnose and repair faulty operations of HVAC / AC units such as:
- Air handling units
- Fresh air & exhaust fan units
- A/C split & packaged type units
- A/C window type units
- Centrifugal pumps
- Check regularly electrical and mechanical safety and operation components of the above listed units.
- Perform installation and commissioning of split and package type air conditioning units.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other electrical components.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, suing testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for the adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
QUALIFICATION
Associate degree or trade school certification in Industrial Electrical, Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Technology, HVAC, or a related field.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering desirable but not required.
UAE Driving license (Preferably)
